Butter delivered live twins (1 doeling & 1 buckling), unassisted! She is an amazingly attentive mother and her udder is engorged! In fact, she's giving us about 2 pounds (about a quart) a day *in addition* to what her babies are taking on their own!

Anticipated weaning dates: July/August 2008

Exhibiting excellent depth, breadth, and bone, Cheshire is fantastic for adding a little height and refinement to his kids, crossing well with powerhouse does.  He has a good topline, shoulders, correct feet and legs, and overall good angulation.  In addition, Cheshire's lines carry wonderful mammary capacity (as evidenced by his inherited dairy stars) and his kids may carry a little something extra - neck jewelry (wattles)!

Butterscotch has a sharp and angular topline, strong legs, excellent heart girth, wonderful spring of rib, and an overall solid appearance.  She has good length and width, a lovely topline, strong correct legs, good shoulders, a graceful neck, and an adorable face, to boot.  She is dairy but has a little more bulk to her than most does of her size.  Butter also has wonderful mammary capacity (as evidenced by her earned dairy stars), with a high milk test day at 3.5# on Standard DHI test (Code 20).  She has an exceptionally soft, pliable udder, with large teats, strong medials, and beautiful cleavage and overall balance.  She is also naturally polled and has thrown polled offspring.

This is an outcross pairing, but on top, Cheshire's lines are linebred on Stonewall's Raising Arizona and on bottom, Butter's lines are linebred on Piddlin Acres ShortChange *S (MCH Twin Creeks BH Bay Watch *++S x MCH Piddlin Acres Doe 'C' Doe), Piddlin Acres Concerto (MCH Piddlin Acres Blue Thunder +S x Tupence Minuet), Woodhaven Farms Moon Dancer *D, and Dav-Lyn Piddlin Acres Victory.  In addition to their conformation and milk production histories, we appreciate Cheshire's good manners and Butterscotch's willing attitude.  We can't wait to see how these two do... again!  Yes, this is a repeat of a past successful breeding done at SilverAurora, which resulted in triplets in 2005.

Doelings/Bucklings: We're so pleased with these two that we're retaining both to build and improve our herd!

Please contact us to express your interest in this breeding.  Reservations are accepted in the order in which we receive clear payment.

Here are a couple of shots of Butter's udder taken 12-18 hours before freshening this year (it's even nicer now that she's freshened and she's giving us about 2 pounds (about a quart) a day *in addition* to what her babies are taking on their own!):

Waiting delivered live triplets (2 doelings, 1 buckling)! She needed a little help orienting the first kid (a doe) for a breech (rear end first, no legs) delivery and then we watched her welcome these newcomers into the world Monday night. Wow are we glad she has a nice, wide pelvis to pass the kid so easily in this position! She is a terrific mother and her udder is beautiful and so easy to milk! In fact, she is already giving us about 1.5#-2.0# of milk each day *in addition to what her kids are taking* with full-time nursing!

Anticipated weaning dates: August 2008

Exhibiting superb width from hips through thurls, pins, and hocks, level topline, good bone, tight, correct feet, and a dishy face, Xenya is a sight to behold.   His dam, Sandy Hollow SS Butterscotch 3*D 2*M, has milked as much as 3.5# on Standard DHI test (Code 20) and we expect she is capable of even more.  Thus, Xenya should be fantastic for bringing both correct structure and fabulous milk production abilities to his kids.

Waiting is a strong, confident doe that exhibits wonderful length, generous rib spacing and angling, tight shoulders, a graceful neck, and a beautiful head with an excellent ear-set and a strong jaw.  She is feminine but solid with excellent feet and legs and a proportionate, yet deep heart girth.  A good mix of refinement and strength, her width from hips to thurls to pins is excellent.  Vocal and personable, this one's always on the move, ready to embark on the next exploration!

This is an outcross pairing, but on top, Xenya's lines are linebred on Jobi Misti 2*D 2*M (AGS 2003 #2 High Milk with 1,247# in 305 days, and posting in AGS top ten for milk production at least 9 other times between 2002-2004), Piddlin Acres ShortChange *S (MCH Twin Creeks BH Bay Watch *++S x MCH Piddlin Acres Doe 'C' Doe), Piddlin Acres Concerto (MCH Piddlin Acres Blue Thunder +S x Tupence Minuet), Woodhaven Farms Moon Dancer *D, and Dav-Lyn Piddlin Acres Victory and on bottom, Waiting's lines are linebred on Goodwood Alamo Messenger ++S.  In addition to their conformation and milk production histories, we appreciate Xenya's affectionate manner and Waiting's intelligence and inquisitive nature.  We can't wait to see how these two do for us!

Doelings/Bucklings: Doelings retained, availability, alteration status, and price for buckling TBD, best animals will have an anticipated price near $375

Please contact us to express your interest in this breeding.  Reservations are accepted in the order in which we receive clear payment.

Whisper delivered live triplet bucklings, unassisted! We watched her welcome these newcomers into the world late Tuesday night. She is an awesome mother and her udder is already looking great! Plus, she just milked 3.8# on test at 6 weeks fresh!

Anticipated weaning dates: June/July 2008

A solid-built buck, Xudan has amazing depth, breadth, bone, and heart girth, topped off with a dishy face typical of his sire.  This boy commands attention, inheriting all the width of his dam, Sandy Hills Hollow KF Sayil 3*D 2*M, a half-sister to our own Sandy Hollow UK Chesire Cat *S *B, and that dishy face typical of his sire, Jobi LA Thunder *S.  This is a powerhouse buck to be sure and we purchased Xudan specifically to help add bone and increase depth and width on our more refined does.  He should accomplish all that and more, with tremendous milk production lines in his pedigree, starting with his dam, who milked 4.3 pounds at 26 days fresh for her first one-day test!

Whisper is a very refined doe with delicate features and an extremely feminine appearance.  She has a sky-high escutcheon, nice wide hips, thurls, and pins, open ribbing, a lovely graceful neck, and a dishy, feminine face.  As a quintuplet, we believe she is slower maturing than our other lines and we're just waiting for her to blossom. And blossom she is! Her first milk test at about 6 weeks fresh (6/6/08) recorded 3.8# (almost a half gallon in 24 hours)! And we KNOW she can do more (we tuckered out on the first (hand) milking with plenty of milk still in the udder, darnit)! Her udder takes after her mother and full aunt from the same kidding - very lateral and sucked tight, way up high into the escutcheon.

This is a linebreeding on Gay-Mor Berry's Jetstream ++*S and Gay-Mor Reggae's Nestle Quik 2*D (AGS All-Time Breed Leader for Highest Lifetime Milk Production, 1997 with 64#).   Additionally, on top, Xudan's lines are linebred on Jobi Misti 2*D 2*M (AGS 2003 #2 High Milk with 1,247# in 305 days, and posting in AGS top ten for milk production at least 9 other times between 2002-2004) and on bottom, Whisper's lines are linebred on WGF Millie *D 1*M (AGS All-Time Breed Leader for Highest Lifetime Milk Production, 2004 with 7,460# in 1,952 days), Piddlin Acres Crown Royal, Willow Creek Tin Lizzie, and Dav-Lynn Piddlin Acres Victory.  Whisper's dam, QSF DTI Faith *D 1*M, was one of SilverAurora's most prolific milkers, posting in the AGS top ten for milk production at least 5 times between 2005-2006.  In addition to their composition and milk production lines, we appreciate Xudan's outgoing personality and Whisper's quiet sensitivity.  We can't wait to see how these two do!

Doelings/Buckings: No doelings this kidding, three bucklings born. Two wethered and available for $300 each.

Please contact us to express your interest in these boys.  Reservations are accepted in the order in which we receive clear payment.
